4-H Members in Rooks County work year round to prepare their entries for the fair. Whether members are capturing photographs, launching rockets or fitting their livestock, Rooks County's youngsters can do it all.

YOUTH PET PARADE
Wednesday, August 5 at 5:30 p.m. Sutor-Blauer Arena
The Youth Pet Parade consists of children who have an animal or pet they wish to bring to the fair to show in the arena.
Any youth may participate. Participants may show a bucket calf, dog, cat, lamb, or small pet. (NO LARGE ANIMALS.)
This is a non-competitive event, all exhibitors will receive a participation ribbon.
OPEN CLASS
Located in the Northwest building of the Rooks County Fairgrounds, the Open Class Building showcases the talents of Rooks County's finest.
Stop by the Open Class Building during the Rooks County Free Fair to see baked goods, arts and crafts, quilts, textiles, photography, crops and much more!
