Rooks County Free Fair is seeking applications for a part-time office secretary.  This paid position is seasonal with more hours during the summer months (July/August) to prepare for the fair.  Position offers flexibility in work hours.  Candidates must possess strong organizational and communication skills and computer knowledge.  If interested submit resume to Rooks County Free Fair P.O. RCFF Office Secretary Job Description

• Answering phone calls

• Respond to emails

• Billing the sponsor for the next fair

• Deposit money when receiving 

• Pick up mail

• Attend fair board meetings, record minutes

• Communicate to board members when board meetings will be held

• Be knowledgeable about fair events and inner workings of fair

• Assist committees with necessary tasks

• Experience with Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher and social media platforms

• Assist board member with website maintenance

• Seasonal monthly hours, more hours during July and August

• Must have strong organizational and communication skills
